Arrow community calls, the weekly schedule, how to join, and what to expect.
Arrow runs recurring voice calls on Discord where contributors sync up, share progress, and review designs together. No agenda required to join, just show up. The Events tab in Discord is the source of truth for times, shown automatically in your timezone; the times below are UTC and can shift by an hour with daylight saving.
Community-wide calls
Weekly Arrow Tagup · Mondays, 18:00 UTC, in voice-chat. The casual all-hands: small updates from every corner of the project and a hangout with the whole Arrow community. If you only join one call, join this one.
Community Welcome Call · Mondays, 16:00 UTC, in voice-chat. For newcomers: meet the community, get your questions answered, and find out where you can plug in. Sign up via the Typeform linked on the Discord event so we know you're coming.
Project calls
Each active aircraft project runs its own weekly meeting in its project voice channel. Anyone can sit in, and lurking to learn how a project works is entirely normal.

Design Reviews
Design reviews are scheduled as needed, usually when a significant CAD model or hardware component is ready for feedback before moving to fabrication.
We screenshare and walk through the geometry together: rotating the model in real time, pointing at features, and asking questions beats trading screenshots by a lot. Anyone in the community can join or request one.
Everything Else
Most coordination happens async in Discord text channels, since Arrow contributors are spread across time zones and async is the default.
That said, if you can make the calls, make them. They're the best way to stay in the loop with what's actually going on, ask questions while the right people are in the room, and set up a discussion that would take days to arrange in text. Nobody's taking attendance, and decisions that matter still get written up on the Forum or in GitHub, so missing one never leaves you stranded. But regulars will tell you the calls are where Arrow clicks.
One ask when you're bringing something to a call: come with your thoughts predigested. A few notes, a reference to point at, or a short presentation gets an idea across in minutes, and thinking through the questions people are likely to ask is the best preparation there is. It makes your case land better, and it respects everyone's time.
