August 30, 2026​

The docs got their biggest pass since the spring restructure. Seven pages were written or rewritten, and the docs started reading live data: the AIP index and the Active Project List now pull straight from the governance repos, and the new Snapshot page lists current votes as they happen.

August 4, 2026​

The $ARROW token page went live on production with CoinGecko verification details and the current v4 pool information. The contributor map dropped its placeholder profiles, so every pin on the globe now belongs to a real contributor.

July 31, 2026​

The bounty flow got a full pass, from the issue form through to the docs that explain it. Creating a bounty now asks for five required fields instead of a long questionnaire, and nothing publishes to the board until a maintainer applies the publish label.

Bounty docs rewritten against the disciplines taxonomy

  • Bounty creation guide for maintainers, covering the form, the publish gate, and the sync.

  • What are Bounties? rewritten against the approved disciplines taxonomy, removing outdated categories and a payment promise the process never made.
  • Bounty board data now syncs through a pull request rather than pushing to a protected branch, so every change is reviewable.

July 29, 2026​

The community-approved contributor disciplines taxonomy, nine categories and forty-three disciplines, is now wired through the whole pipeline: the bounty issue form, the board filters, and the contributor map schema all draw from one canonical list.

  • Bounty issue form offers the full taxonomy as Category: Discipline checkboxes.
  • Bounty board filters by category, discipline, reward, and status, with category-colored discipline pills.
  • Contributor map profiles use the same discipline list, which is what makes future matching possible.

July 17 to 22, 2026​

A heavy week. Two whole project documentation sets were imported, the token and legal pages landed, and the site navigation was rebuilt around a mega menu.

  • Navigation rebuilt: mega menu on desktop, Quicklinks drawer on mobile.
  • Bounty board cleared of dummy data and announced with a fresh set of bounties.
  • Fixed the white flash on homepage load and navigation into the docs.

May 14 to 17, 2026​

A polish pass across the whole docs experience following the April restructure.

New

  • Global image zoom on all docs images.
  • Full favicon bundle and corrected brand SVG paths.

Updated

  • Docs UI polish: heading hierarchy, category index layout, and card styling.
  • Theme switching respects the OS color scheme without flicker.
  • Navbar icon buttons, with JetBrains Mono as the code face.
  • Marketing pages and docs home cleaned up after a full site audit.

March 20, 2026​

The main docs have been restructured from a flat layout into six named sections: Overview, Contributing, Community, Guides, DAO, and Resources. Several new pages were written from scratch.

  • Code of Conduct — Behavioral expectations, zero-tolerance policies, conflict resolution process, and enforcement for Arrow contributors.
  • How We Work — How Arrow contributors collaborate day to day: self-directed work, async communication, decision-making, and staying aligned.
  • Changelog — This page. AI-summarized record of recent activity across Arrow docs, generated from GitHub.

  • What is Arrow? — Added How We Work and Decentralized Governance sections with expanded context on Arrow's online-first culture and DAO structure.
  • Welcome to the Arrow Documentation — Restructured with Arrow Projects list and six Jump Right In cards.

February 28, 2026​

Flight tracking documentation reorganized into topic-based subsections. The previous flat structure made it hard to find engineering reference material versus contributor onboarding.

  • Flight Tracking Overview — Introduction, project scope, and quickstart for new users.
  • Engineering reference section — Data pipeline architecture, APIs, and infrastructure overview.
  • Contribute section — Onboarding guide for new flight tracking contributors, covering data submission and validation.

  • Reports index updated to link all published flight analysis reports chronologically.

February 3, 2026​

Governance and DAO documentation updated to reflect current processes. The AIPs section was reorganized and two new procedural pages added.

New

  • Submit an AIP — Step-by-step guide for proposing governance changes, including templates and review timelines.
  • AIP-003 added to the index — Passed January 28. Covers contributor tier structure and token distribution thresholds.

Updated

  • Constitution page updated with ratified amendments from Q4 2025.
  • ARROW Token page refreshed with current distribution breakdown and vesting schedule.

January 14, 2026​

Contributing documentation overhauled. The Getting Started page was rewritten to reflect current priorities, and two new pages added to cover funding and contributor recognition.

  • Grants & Bounties — How the bounty system works, how to claim rewards, and current open opportunities.
  • Dev-kit loan program documentation added to Getting Started — covering eligibility, application process, and what's included.

Updated

  • Development Guide updated with current Git workflow, branch naming conventions, and VS Code extension recommendations.
  • TypeScript and Python style guides refreshed.

Fixed

  • Broken links to external GitHub repositories corrected throughout.
  • CLA signing instructions updated to reflect the new automated process.
